Color Collages (2007)

My first year teaching my purchase order was lost in the mail. I remember waiting and waiting for my supplies to arrive and kept calling the company asking where my order was. They told me that it was delivered to my school in Las Vegas...hello...I teach in San Diego! Some lovely teacher gladly claimed a solid $1,200 in art supplies on my behalf. So for 2 months we did a lot of pencil drawings and collaging. I had to make the best of it. Below are color collages the students made representing the color wheel and design principles.
